Meine Schneemannarmee!

Nachden meine Engel so gut angekommen sind , nähe ich auch noch die Schneemänner von Tone Finannger.

Ich stelle mal eine Arbeitsanleitung für diese Schneemänner bei mir im Blog ein.

Zunächst werden die Schneemännerkörper grob aus Stoff zugeschnitten. Zwei Lagen Stoff werden mit der rechten Seite nach innen aufeinander geheftet. Dann wird das Schnittmuster auf den Stoff geheftet und rings um mit einem kleinen Steppstich der Umriss abgenäht. Dabei wird an der Unterseite eine Öffnung zum Wenden gelassen. Die Nahtzugaben werden bis auf 3 mm zurüchgeschnitten, lediglich bei der Öffnung wird eine Nahtzugabe von einem cm gelassen, damit man die Öffnung nachher besser schließen kann.

Jetzt werden die beiden Stoffhälften etwas auseinander gezogen, daß der Schneemann etwas Stand erhält.

Nun werden an den unteren Seiten des Körpers jeweils ein Dreieck abgenäht. Man sieht es hier auf dem Foto eigentlich ganz deutlich. Die überstehenden Dreiecke werden knapp neben der Naht abgeschnitten. Dadurch erhält der Schneemann einen besseren Stand. Nun wird der Schneemann gewendet.

Jetzt habe ich mit blauem Garn die Kreutze auf den Bauch gestickt. Die Augen wurden mit einem schwarzen Stoffmalstift aufgemalt. Als Nase erhält der Schneemann eine orange Perle. Danach wurde der Schneemann mit Füllwatte gestopft und von Hand zugenäht.

Die Arme werden grob zugeschnitten. Das Schnittmuster wird aufgelegt und rundherum abgesteppt. Diesmal wird keine Öffnung an den Nähten gelassen. Die Arme werden dann dort ,wo die gestrichelte Linie auf dem Schnittmuster ist ,eingeschnitten um die Watte einzufüllen. Dies ist an den Innenseiten der Arme, die später am Körper anliegen und nicht mehr sichtbar sind.

Die Arme weden dann mit Watte gefüllt und der Einschnitt wird zugenäht. ( Links vorne im Bild:Die ungestopften Arme mit dem Einschnitt. Rechts vorne im Bild: Die gestopften Arme mit offenem Einschnitt und hinten im Bild:Die gestopften Arme mit zugenähtem Einschnitt.)
